Qualitative Research

Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) is the retirement saving scheme in Hong Kong.

The research design in this stage focused on getting feedback on the UX design of the conceptual mobile app and features. We have spoken to 48 customers in 2 weeks and asked them to provide feedback through online discussion forums and surveys.

The client has a broad vivid brand color palette, so I quickly recreated these accents colors in the master slides. In this phase, we used these accent colors for the 5 mindsets that were identified among our respondents.

Quantitative Research & Personas

In this following phase, we built the personas based on the users’ levels of involvement in MPF and other profiling criteria on a deeper level from the insights we found in both qualitative and quantitative research activities.
