Understanding Caregivers’ Journey
Presentation Design
A regional qualitative market research project covered 4 markets in 2 phases for an insurance company based in Hong Kong in 2022.

I was fully involved in a well-planned schedule for this project.
01 – Proposal
I worked strategically with the Managing Director and the designated team in designing the winning executive-level proposal. The clients were convinced we were the right partners because of our content material in the tailor-made sales pitch.
02 – Distill & Discover
Working on the project proposal at the beginning benefits my design process. Since I have developed a good understanding of the research design and objectives, so after the qualitative fieldwork had been completed, I teamed up with the qualitative research team on the “Dirty PowerPoint”. While they focused on distilling complex information and notes from fieldwork, I was exploring other visualization, particularly for the caregivers who participated in the in-depth interviews.
03 – Develop & Design
Their stories and experiences were heart-touching, and they needed to be heard. As a team, we aimed to translate their voices to the clients and the stakeholders.
One of my considerations was to build a template that could adopt multiple market overviews and comparisons. I used images, timelines, line charts, and diagrams to help bring the caregivers and their journey to life.
04 – Deliver
The final PowerPoint deliverable consisted of 90 slides with square cards for the caregivers' stories relevant to each stage of the caregiving journey to bring authenticity and reinforce the pain points!
